Product workflow

How it works

These are the actual user-controlled steps in the current Digital Arrow workflow.

  1. 1

    Create and publish the job

Add the role description and structured details, then make the opportunity available through Digital Arrow.

  2. 2

    Collect applications

Registered candidates can apply with a saved CV. Guest candidates can submit contact details with a CV file or LinkedIn profile.

  3. 3

    Configure the workflow

Use the default pipeline or add, rename, recolor and reorder stages for that specific job.

  4. 4

    Review and move applicants

Open candidate information, add notes where available, and drag the applicant card to the appropriate stage.

  5. 5

    Search the applicant directory

Use the company applicant view to find people across the workspace without rebuilding a separate spreadsheet.

What this applicant tracking system does

It gives each job a structured place for applications, candidate details and pipeline status.

An applicant tracking system should make the current state of a hiring process visible. Digital Arrow groups candidates by job and pipeline stage, so a recruiter can see who has applied and where each person sits without reconstructing the process from messages or folders.

The pipeline is configurable per job. That matters when one role needs a short screening process while another needs more internal steps. Stage names, colors and order can reflect the workflow the team actually uses.

  • Use structured job fields instead of publishing only an unformatted description.
  • Support both signed-in candidates and lower-friction guest applications.
  • Keep job pipelines distinct rather than forcing every opening through one universal stage list.

How candidates apply

Candidates can apply from an account or use the guest application flow.

A registered candidate can select a saved CV and apply from their account. The guest flow asks for contact details and accepts either a CV file or a LinkedIn profile, which gives employers another path for candidates who do not want to create an account first.

After submission, the application is available to the company team inside the job pipeline. Recruiters can open the applicant record and move it as the process progresses.

Configurable stages instead of a fixed funnel

Each job can use the stage names and sequence that fit its hiring process.

A configurable Kanban pipeline makes the workflow legible at a glance. Teams can create stages, adjust their order and apply colors that distinguish one part of the process from another.

Moving an applicant card updates that person's stage for the job. This is intentionally a human-controlled workflow: the current product does not claim AI matching or automatic candidate decisions.

Practical fit

Common use cases

Recruitment agency pipelines

Keep applicants organized separately for each client role and adapt stages to the assignment.

Growing in-house teams

Give a small hiring team one visible workflow instead of maintaining status columns in a spreadsheet.

Guest-friendly recruiting

Reduce application friction with a public guest path while still supporting richer registered candidate profiles.
