Project time tracking for managers and employees
Digital Arrow lets workers record project time manually or with a running timer, add task notes, and use preset or custom date ranges. Managers can review entries and totals, create and archive projects, export PDF summaries and share a read-only view. Time-off requests have a separate approve-or-reject workflow.

Product workflow
How it works
These are the actual user-controlled steps in the current Digital Arrow workflow.
- 1
Create a project
Set up the project that time entries should be associated with and archive it when it is no longer active.
- 2
Record the work
The worker adds time manually or uses the running timer, selects the project and includes task notes.
- 3
Choose a reporting range
Use a preset period or custom dates to focus the entry list and calculated totals.
- 4
Review the timesheet
Managers can inspect entries and summaries. Time entries themselves do not have an approve-or-reject state.
- 5
Export or share
Generate a PDF summary or provide the secure read-only view when another person needs to inspect the record.

Record project time manually or with a timer
Workers can enter finished work directly or let a timer calculate its duration.
Manual entries work when the start and end of a task are already known. The running timer supports work that is being tracked as it happens. In either case, the entry can be associated with a project and include task notes.
Workers can use their Employee account or a secure timesheet path, depending on how the company has set up access.
Review totals, export PDF and share a read-only view
Managers can filter the record by date range, inspect entries and share a stable summary.
Preset and custom ranges make it possible to focus on a particular period. The page calculates summaries from the entries in that range and supports a PDF export for an offline record.
A separate read-only timesheet URL is useful when someone needs to inspect the information without editing it.
Time-off approval is separate from time entries
Leave requests can be approved or rejected; ordinary timesheet entries cannot.
Digital Arrow includes time-off requests and a manager decision flow. That status belongs to the leave request, not to individual time entries.
This distinction is important for evaluating billing workflows. The product does not currently claim that a manager approves timesheet rows and automatically turns those approved rows into an invoice.
